Ian Grady, Finance Director

Ian’s connection to the district goes back a generation; his father grew up in a house on School Street near the Roxbury-Jamaica Plain line. A recent graduate of Emerson College, much of Ian’s political experience has been in the realm of LGBT equality. Not surprisingly, that passion for LGBT equality drew him to MassEquality, where he worked and interned for more than two years. Most recently Ian interned in the office of one of Sonia’s colleagues, State Senator Jamie Eldridge. While interning there, Ian was particularly excited to work with Senator Eldridge’s office on the passage of anti-bullying legislation. When not campaigning for progressive causes and candidates, Ian loves to ride and work on bicycles.
