Sibu Malaba, Field Director

Sibu, a graduate of Emmanuel College in the district’s Fenway neighborhood, comes to the campaign team with a background in non-profit advocacy as well as electoral politics. Over the past several years, Sibu has worked with such excellent non-profits as Dorchester’s Bell Foundation, START Inc, and The Jimmy Fund. Additionally, Sibu spent a year working with the Human Resources Department of the Lawrence Public Schools. On the electoral front, Sibu has held various paid and volunteer positions with the Citizens for Alan Khazei Campaign, Martha Coakley for US Senate, Obama for America, and the Debbie Silberstein for State Senate campaign. In addition to her zeal for progressive politics, Sibu also has a passion for nineties music.
