Winston Vaughan, Campaign Manager

Winston comes to Sonia’s re-election campaign with over a decade of experience in progressive organizing and fundraising. Since 1998 Winston has been running grassroots campaigns to strengthen consumer protections and defend our environment. Working in California, Ohio, New York, and most recently in Massachusetts, Winston played a role in winning campaigns to block gas drilling in the Great Lakes, improve prescription drug safety, expand clean energy sources like wind and solar power, and pass two of the first state-level global warming laws in the country. In addition to his progressive organizing and advocacy, Winston oversaw organizers for MoveOn.org, Environment America, and Progressive Future's efforts to elect progressive leaders in the 2006 and 2008 elections. A proud graduate of Oberlin College, Winston lives in Jamaica Plain and loves to cook spicy food.
